Yes. However, this will limit the Mont Blanc use. Mont Blanc is a class 1 electric bike, without a throttle it’s allowed on various dirt roads and mountain bike trails. Currently, there are no compatible throttle options for the Mont Blanc either.
Youin’s Mont Blanc is a class 1 electric mountain bike, and does not include a throttle.
Youin’s Mont Blanc is built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IP67 rating means it’s protected against the effects of immersion in water to a depth between 15 cm and 1 meter. IP67-rated products are referred to as waterproof vs only water-resistant, so you can cross creeks, and ride in rain and mud without worry. Youin ebikes are not intended to be subjected to a pressurized spray. Do not use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.
Youin’s Mont Blanc weighs 54 lbs with the battery installed. (Battery weight is 8.44lbs)
As the Mont Blanc is a performance mountain bike, it’s not common for mountain bikes to have step-through options as the frame’s rigidity takes priority over everything for optimal performance and control on rougher terrain. Generally, mountain bikers of smaller size will simply choose a smaller size frame to ease their riding experience.
Youin does not sell conversion kits. All Youin bikes are already designed with electrical components, such as integrated batteries, motors, and sensors for an optimal riding experience.
Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Youin ebike. Here are a few things to remember: 1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage. 2. Use the right charger. Only use an Youin branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.) 3. Avoid overcharging your ebike. 4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold. 5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health. 6. Avoid heavy loads. Do not exceed the bike’s recommended maximum capacity. 7. Keep your battery, terminal, & ports clean.
All Youin-branded frames, framesets, components, and batteries come with a 2-year warranty. Learn more about the Youin warranty.
Electric bikes require regular maintenance tune-ups similar to traditional bikes and cars. To get the best performance out of your ebike, regularly check tires, tubes, chains, battery, and brakes, or visit a local bike shop for professional assistance. Performing a pre-ride safety check helps maintain your ebike, as well as staying up-to-date on non-electric component maintenance and repairs.
The torque sensor design is more intuitive for the rider at high and low speeds, it’s more efficient, has smoother power delivery, and is less prone to damage as the sensor is internal opposed to the external cadence sensor.
